Blessings & Curses

Have you ever noticed that so many things in life are really double-sided?

Like how our greatest strengths can also be our greatest weaknesses?

Or how like this quote suggests, what seems like a blessing can also be hiding a curse — that is if we aren’t self-aware enough to recognise and navigate the hidden dangers.

Likewise, what presents as a curse could be the biggest blessings in disguise — again if we are awake and aware enough to recognise it.

We are at one of those moments, collectively, and perhaps you are personally as well.

Please don’t misunderstand, people falling ill and dying is not what I’m referring to here. That is, of course, devastating as is being thrust into survival mode.

What I am referring to has more to do with being quarantined or locked down. We have an opportunity to reflect and connect (virtually and in the home). We have an opportunity to build resilient relationships.

We are getting back all those hours in travel to and from work (at least) and to and from school.

What an amazing opportunity to learn something, to create something, to nourish something or someone, to BE

BE in the silence. BE in the peace. BE with yourself.

You have the chance, right now, that you’ve been always talking about… “when I have the time…”

Now you have some time…Get to it!

You got this!

Until next time…Many blessings and much peace xo
